Yotpo is entering a new phase, focusing entirely on building the best Reviews and Loyalty products. As part of this shift, we’re winding down our native Email and SMS offerings. Below, we’ve answered the most common questions to help you understand what this change means and how we’re supporting you throughout.
General
Why is Yotpo making this change?
After listening to hundreds of customers and reviewing performance data, we made the strategic decision to focus on what we do best: Reviews and Loyalty. We believe that going deeper in these areas will create more value than trying to own every piece of the retention stack.
What’s changing and what’s staying the same?
We will no longer offer native Email and SMS products. What stays the same is our commitment to helping brands grow through powerful retention tools. Our integrations with top Email and SMS platforms will allow for connected experiences, without the tradeoffs of an all-in-one solution.
When will Email and SMS be sunset?
We plan to sunset both products at the end of December 2025. Until then, we will continue supporting existing customers and providing time and resources for a smooth transition.
Is this decision related to financial issues or an acquisition?
No. This is a proactive move to double down on our most successful products and prepare for long-term growth. It allows us to innovate faster and deliver greater value.
For Current Email and SMS Customers
Do I need to switch platforms right away?
No. You can continue using Yotpo Email and SMS through the end of 2025. We are offering a long and supported transition period.
Who are your Email and SMS partners?
We’re partnering with Attentive as our primary strategic partner. For growing brands, we’re also partnering with Omnisend to ensure a smooth and supported path forward.
Will my data and workflows transfer safely?
Yes. We are working closely with our partners to ensure your data is protected and your workflows remain intact throughout the migration.
What if I’m under a long-term contract?
Our team will work with you to ensure a fair and transparent resolution. You’ll hear from us directly with more information based on your plan.
Can I migrate to a provider not on your partner list?
Yes. You are free to choose the platform that works best for you.
For New and Prospective Customers
Can I still use Yotpo as a retention solution?
Yes. You can combine Yotpo Reviews and Loyalty with the Email or SMS platform of your choice. Our integrations ensure everything works together as a connected experience.
I was planning to use Yotpo for Email or SMS. What now?
If those products were your main reason for evaluating Yotpo, we recommend looking at our partner solutions. If you’re looking for best-in-class Reviews and Loyalty, Yotpo remains a strong fit.
Will this increase my total cost of ownership?
In the short term, your pricing will stay the same through our partner agreements. In the long term, using best-in-class tools may actually improve performance and ROI.

What does this mean for my agency or tech team?
You’ll continue to support clients using Reviews and Loyalty as before. Our roadmap includes faster development, better extensibility, and stronger partner support.
Do I still receive referral credit and enablement?
Yes. Our partner program is still active, and we are continuing to support you and your clients through onboarding, strategy, and co-marketing.
Regional Support
Does this affect customers outside the US?
Yes. This is a global change and applies across all regions. Each market will receive localized support to ensure a smooth transition.
Will regional support still be available?
Yes. Our teams in North America, Europe, Australia, and Israel remain active and ready to assist.
